Ingrid Ellen Michaelson is an American singer, songwriter, composer, and actress.
Born in New York City and raised by her mother, a sculptor, and her father, a classical composer, Ingrid Michaelson has artistry in her DNA. Known for her uniquely delicate and comforting voice and songs that tug heartstrings, the emotional honesty of her music is universally relatable. Remaining fiercely independent, she has released 8 albums on the label she founded, Cabin 24 Records, including her platinum hits "The Way I Am," "Girls Chase Boys," and "You and I."
