Jeffrey Leon Bridges (born December 4, 1949) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his leading man roles in film and television. In a career spanning over seven decades, he has received various accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, in addition to nominations for three BAFTA Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
