Bernard Stiegler (French: [bɛʁnaʁ stiɡlɛʁ]; 1 April 1952 – 5 August 2020) was a French philosopher. He was head of the Institut de recherche et d'innovation (IRI), which he founded in 2006 at the Centre Georges-Pompidou.
