If you're not reaching back to help anyone then you're not building a legacy.
Kindness is universal. Sometimes being kind allows others to see the goodness in humanity through you. Always be kinder than necessary.
Focus on your work. Do what you're great at. Don't compare yourself to others and or waste time criticizing the lives and work of others. Do what matters most to you and make a difference doing that.
Compassion is even more powerful than courage. Sure, with courage you can conquer a world - but only with compassion can you heal and build it.
Giving is an act of generosity.Giving is sowing a seed.The seed will produce great harvest of fruits.
The day you find out who you are is when you look back and realize that it was never the words, rather your actions that defined you.
Give of yourself to others and others will give of themselves to you.
Honestly, I'm interested in politics; I'm interested in giving back in some form, performing some sort of civic duty. But I'm not exploring a run for governor or senator or anything along those lines....
This is a value-added college education if I have heard one described. And what is the most remarkable about Delaware State University graduates - is they just keeping giving back.
Giving back is the right thing to do, whether it's donating clothing or even just a smile to someone who needs it.
