His accolades include two Baeksang Arts Awards, one Buil Film Award and two Blue Dragon Film Awards. Since 2012, he has appeared in Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40 six times, being in the top ten four times. He was named Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year in 2012 and 2017.
