Moshe Sharett (Hebrew: משה שרת; born Moshe Chertok (משה שרתוק); 15 October 1894 – 7 July 1965) was an Israeli politician who served as the second prime minister of Israel from 1954 to 1955. A member of Mapai, Sharett's term was both preceded and succeeded by the premiership of David Ben-Gurion. He also served as the country's first foreign minister between 1948 and 1956.
