Linda Denise Blair (born January 22, 1959) is an American actress and activist. For playing Regan MacNeil in the film The Exorcist (1973), Blair has earned recognition in popular culture and as a scream queen, and received a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. She reprises the role in the sequels Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) and The Exorcist: Believer (2023). She has since become a prominent activist for the animal rights movement.
